Description
APPLICATION
A door heater with a stainless steel (SS) braided jacket is designed to prevent freezing and blockage in drainage lines by providing consistent heat along the length of the pipe. The stainless steel braiding serves as a protective layer, offering enhanced durability, resistance to corrosion, and protection against mechanical damage, making it suitable for both industrial and commercial applications. In refrigeration systems, cold storage units, and HVAC setups, these heaters are essential for keeping condensate drain lines free-flowing, especially in low-temperature environments. They are also widely used in freezers, ice machines, and washing machines installed in basements or unheated areas where pipe freezing is a common issue. Additionally, in roofing systems, SS braided door heaters help prevent ice build-up in drainage pipes, reducing the risk of structural damage. Their flexibility, ease of installation, and reliability make them a preferred choice in both domestic and industrial setups where drain line heating is critical.
TECHNICAL DATA
The SS braided door heater is available in standard lengths of 3, 5, 6, 11, and 25 meters to suit various installation requirements. It operates on either 110V or 230V AC at a frequency of 50 Hz, making it compatible with common electrical systems used in both domestic and industrial applications. This range of lengths and voltage options allows for flexible use across different environments, ensuring efficient performance and easy integration into existing drainage systems.
CONSTRUCTION
The heating element consists of a Nickel 80/20 alloy wire, which is first wrapped around a fiber thread to provide structural support and flexibility. This assembly is then insulated with a Teflon coating, ensuring excellent thermal resistance and electrical insulation. Finally, the entire unit is braided with stainless steel wire, adding a layer of mechanical protection and durability. This construction makes the heater highly efficient, safe, and suitable for demanding environments.
